CREATING HEALTHY HOMES

A lifelong interest in architecture has taken me, via; studying Interior Design, a degree in Restoration and Decorative Studies and various design and restoration projects, to being an Energy Efficiency Retrofit Adviser and setting up Creating Healthy Homes.

I am passionate about all things sustainable and believe that how you furnish and decorate your home deserves serious consideration, as it could have a detrimental affect on your health.

In my role as a Champion for Sustainable Dorset, I am an advocate of the Dorset Green Living Project and can act as a mentor to anyone wishing to set up a group to follow the project.
I can also give advice on Energy Efficiency Retrofit of traditional buildings.
Hawkers Farmhouse has been retrofitted using traditional and sustainable materials and has a ground source heat pump, PV panels and Sonnen batteries. The farmhouse will be open as part of Dorset Greener Open Homes in September, organised by Dorset Climate Action Network.
